A decentralized identifier is a unique identifier that acts like a url connecting to a digital identity.

Subject

The entity that is central to the DID

Controller

An entity that has privilege to act on behalf of a Subject.

Claim Consumer

Cosumers create claims for a subject.

Claim Issuer

Issuers attest a claim.
